Have you gone full race-car and deleted your A/C or heater core? If so, you’ll have two lines coming from your motor where the heater core connected. In this case, you’ll need to reroute the coolant lines running underneath your exhaust manifold to the back of the motor.
What you’ll need:
- Gates 19666 Hose
- (2) Worm Clamps
The hose looks like this:
I purchased mine at Autozone, however, you should be able to purchase it at any parts store.
You’ll more than likely need to cut off the old rubber hose as over time the lines begin to stick. Cut off the old line and connect your new Gates hose from where the first line connected.
Look at that! You’ve deleted some weight and completed a very easy modification to your Miata! Go get yourself a beer.
